BIOGRAPHIES
Annie, Linda, and Paddy.
Annie has
been teaching yoga, meditation and pilates in and around London for the last 7
years after graduating
from the Kevala Centre, and the Michael King Pilates Institute.
Although she has been practicing and studying yoga for 25 years, her professional time
was spent teaching
other forms of exercise and running her own studio. After extensively
travelling and studying yoga in India, and in Australia with the Radiant Light Yoga
Group, she has returned to her yoga roots and now runs regular weekend retreats at
Boswell Farm for her London clientele.
She divides
her year between Queensland Australia and London, and enjoys scuba diving,
surfing and cycling.
Linda has been
working with pilates over the last 25 years. She taught at Wayne Sleep’s
studio and Annie’s Heartbeat Studio in London, and now teaches at her own studio at
Boswell Farm, Devon.
She has been a
registered Healer since 1991. She has worked in Healing Centres and also
opened and run two other Healing Centres. She is a qualified and registered Counsellor and
runs her own Private Counselling Practise.
She discovered
her ability to see and read Colour Circles six years ago. These reflections
on the Soul, are fun and
very empowering.
One of Linda’s
many interests is to take her young granddaughters skiing every year,
chasing them down the slopes!
Paddy had been
a primary school teacher for 21 years when, in 2001, she decided to leave
teaching and set up her own business in Complementary Therapy. She graduated from
Exeter College as a Reflexologist in 1999 and is a member of the Institute
Council of
Holistic Therapists.
She is also qualified
in Body Massage, Sports Massage, Ayurvedic Massage,
Aromatherapy, Hypnotherapy and Advanced Reflexology. She now practises in Devon
and at Boswell Farm.
As if she’s
not busy enough, she will be trekking the Inca Trail in Peru this Summer!
Yoga is a way
of life, a lifestyle choice. The benefits that come into your life are so
rewarding that once you begin this path it is virtually impossible to change. Once the
body becomes flexible it starts to release pent up emotions and starts to correct defects
in the posture. The body soon becomes more agile and lighter and a sense of well being
and confidence takes over.
Linda takes the
Pilates classes on the Holistic Weekends. These are fun classes, angled
towards greater body awareness and self healing, teaching the way to core strength and
good posture.
